The New Zealand ski team scooped the pool at the Australian national ski championships held at Thredbo last week when bad weather forced the cancellation of yesterday’s national downhill event. M. Gardner of Canterbury, was last night declared winner of the men's championship on his combined total for the giant slalom and slalom events held earlier. Elisabeth Agnew, of Hamilton, won the women's section on her combined points for the two events.
