Airline Strike In U.S. Ends
(X Z P. A.-Reuter—Copyright? NEW YORK. August 21. Mechanics voted last Friday to end a strike which has paralysed five major American airlines for six weeks. The strike grounded about 60 per cent of the nation’s civil air traffic and cost hundreds of millions of dollars.
