Four Houses Passed In
Four houses were passed In when offered for sale by public auction on Thursday. A three-year-old concrete block house on an elevated section of 65 perches at 3 Paulus terrace, Cashmere, was passed in at £8250. The property was offered on account of Dr, J. E. C. and Mrs H. Morgans by Ford and Hadfield, Ltd., acting in conjunction with Mr N. K. Olsen. The auctioneer was Mr D. Chapman. The house has a lounge, three double bedrooms, a kitchen and bathroom. Other improvements include a garage and a toolshed. Offered on account of Mr A. Nettelton, a two-storey weatherboard house at 22 Scotston avenue, Papanui, was passed in at £3400. The auctioneer was Mr E. R. McDonald. f The house has five bedrooms, a hall, lounge, kitchen and bathroom. Outbuildings on the section of one rood 29.5 perches include a garage, and a glasshouse. The rates are £34 12s Id. Mr D. Fields’s bungalow at 46 Packe street, St. Albans, was passed in at £3OOO. The auctioneer was Mr L. W. Aitken. The house has two bedrooms, a lounge, kitchenette and laundry. A 540 square feet weatherboard house on a hillside section of three roods 38.6 perches at the Rue Grehan, Akaroa, was passed in at £1375- The property was offered on account of the estate of Augustus Sergison by Mr J. Dyer.
