Linwood Most Successful Linwood, by winning four championships and being run-ner-up in another, won the Taylor Shield as the leading schoolboy Rugby League club this season. Championship winners were: Under 15. —Championship, Lin. wood; runners-up, Hornby and Christchurch; knock-out, Hornby. Under 14.—Championship, Linwood; runner-up, Addington; knock-out, Linwoo’d. Under 13. Championship, Halswell; runner-up, Linwood B; knock-out, Halswell. Under 12.—Championship, Linwood B; runner-up, Christchurch; knock-out, Papanui B. Under 11.—Section I: championship, Linwood B: runner-up, Woolston A; knock-out. Woolston A. Section II: Tattersalls Cup, Christchurch.
Under 10. Championship, Papanui A; runner-up, Papanui B; knock-out, Papanui A. Stan Dennis Cup. Papanui A. Under Nine.—Championship, Halswell; runner.up, Papanui B; knock-out, Halswell.
Under Eight.—Championship, Hornby A; runner-up, Shirley A; knock-out, Shirley A.
Canada Cup.— J. Nicklaus and A. Palmer will represent the United States in the Canada Cup matches at Tokyo on November 10-13.
