RECAPTURED
(N.Z. Press Association) MASTERTON, August 15. A youth who escaped from the Waikeria Prison on Friday appeared before Mr W. H. Saunders, J.P., in the Mastertbn Magistrate’s Court this morning. Eric Brian Gibson, aged 20, was charged with escaping from lawful custody, converting a car valued at £550 in Otorohanga, and breaking and entering Knott’s store, on the outskirts of Masterton, in the early hours yesterday. He was remanded in custody to tomorrow morning.
