Richmond House Brings £5700
A weatherboard house at 15 Draper street, Richmond, was sold for £5700 at public auction. The property was offered on account of the estate of C. G. Mahan by Ford and Hadfield Ltd. The auctioneer was Mr D. Chapman. The house has three kitchenettes, four living rooms, three bedrooms and a bathroom. Outbuildings on the section of 76 perches, zoned residential B, include a detached bedroom, a garage, a workshop and a laundry. The initial bid was £4500. There were 11 bids of £lOO, and two of £5O.
