Drayton, Bond Reach 100
The Hornby full-back, I. T. Drayton, and the Kaiapoi hooker, J E. Bond, each kicked seven goals to take their club points tally past the century mark on Saturday. Drayton now leads J. C. Hawthorne (Papanui) and Bond in the points table although only five points separate the three. Drayton has 117, Hawthorne 115, and Bond 112. In all matches this season Drayton has scored 158 points. His club total Is made up of seven tries and 48 goals. Bond has kicked most goals—s 6— while Hawthorne has succeeded with 53 goals and has scored three tries. G. J. Rosanowski (Linwood) and A. Tuuta (Sydenham) have each scored 83 points, W. Morrison (Christchurch) has 68 and J. Vivian (Addington) and J. K. Keremeta (Marist) took their totals to 50 on Saturday.
