N.Z. MINERAL COMPANY

Ore Price May Be Higher New Zealand Mineral Developments, Ltd., now expected to get about 25 per cent more for its copper ore than had been first estimated, its directors said in a statement This had been learnt in recent talks between the directors and Mr H. Becker-Flue-get vice-president of W. R. Grace and Company, of New York, the statement said. The directors now felt that the earlier price of £32 a ton was over-conservative. W. R. Grace and Company had offered to dispose of the ore through its sales agents in Japan, England, and Germany. The application by the company to mine and sell ore body will be heard in the Cromwtll Warden’s Court on August 9. The company planned to be ready to begin work immediately after the hearing.
