Among the gains Dominion Breweries rose Id to 17s 3d, Gear 3d to 13s 3d, New Zealand Refrigerating 2d to 14s 9d, McKendrick 3d to 4s 6d, Alex Harvey 2d to 33s 6d, A. and T. Burt Is 6d to 49s 6d, Farmers’ Trading Id to 13s 4d, J. Wattie 3d to 19s 3d and the new shares 2d to 18s lOd, and Reid Rubber 3d to 26s 9d.

General Foods featured with a further rise of 3d to 16s 9d—a gain of 9d on the week and a new peak for the year. Southland Frozen Meat fell 3d to 20s, New Zealand Insurance Id to 23s 9d, while Armstrong and Springhall, in first sales for some weeks, lost 2s to 355.
