District Officer Appointed
Mr A. V. Church, has been appointed Christchurch district officer of the Industries and Commerce Department. He will take up his appointment on July 25. Married, with one child, Mr Church is a qualified accountant He joined the department in 1959 and has had experience in its commodity, development, overseas trade, and trade practices and prices divisions. At present Mr Church is In charge of one of the import licensing sections of the department.
