N.Z. WAR HISTORY

Four Volumes To Come (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 14. Plans to complete the programme of New Zealand war history publications were outlined in the House of Representatives by the Minister of Internal Affairs (Mr Seath). To date 44 volumes of New Zealand’s war histories have been published. Mr Seath said two of a remaining four volumes—“Alam Haifa and Alamein" and “New Zealand Artillery” —would be published this year. The third volume, “Italy Volume II,” will be published early next year. The Minister explained that the final volume, “The New Zealand People at War, a Social Survey 1939-45.” was not sufficiently advanced to set a publication date.
