Roads Board Grants
The National Roads Board will contribute £354,300 to the Christchurch City Council this year in subsidies and grants for bridges. The council last evening showed that £277,487 will go towards the cost of carriageways and bridges, £23,800 to street lighting, £3OOO to street marking, £40,913 to loan servicing and £7500 to traffic control lights on State highways.
