Cheered By Marchers

(NZ. Preu Association) AUCKLAND, June 19. More than 650 Freedom from Hunger marchers gave three cheers for the athlete A. B. Magee after he had led them on a 21-mile march from Silverdale to Takapuna today.

The Mayor of Takapuna (Mr A. F. Thomas) and the principal of the North Shore Teachers’ Training College (Mr J. A. Osborne) were among the finishers, and only a few marchers dropped out with sore feet. The march raised about £BOO for Operation 21.
