Burglars Steal Clothes
Between £BO and £lOO worth of men’s clothing was stolen when burglars broke into the premises of John Darby, Ltd., 109 Manchester street, on Thursday night The sum of £l7 12s, In florins, was stolen from the canteen at Andersons, Ltd., Curries road, when the premises were broken into on Thursday night A cigarettevending machine was damaged. The same night, £1 Ils worth of property was stolen from a burgled house in Madras street
Property worth £l5 17s 6d was stolen from the Riviera Restaurant, and a purse containing £lO was stolen from a city store, it was reported to the police on Friday.
