New Tree

(N.Z. Freis Association) WELLINGTON, June 19. A Wellington gardening expert. Mr J. Stirling, has discovered a new type of native New Zealand tree. Botanists describe his find as a form of pittosporam tenulfolium never before found in New Zealand.

They are hesitant to name the tree, but the new find will be known as “pittospornm tenulfo* lium James Stirling.” A plant of the new tree will be presented to the Wellington City Council by Mr Stirling tor planting in the Wellington Botanical Gardens.
