Goldie Painting

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, June 16. A signed painting by C. F. Goldie bought £350 at auction today. The painting, “Kapai te Torori” (good—the tobacco), is a portrait of a chieftainess, dated 1916. A copy of “New Zealanders Illustrated,” by George French Angas, dated 1846-47, sold for £6OO.
