CHECKERS AND REX JOINT LEADERS

With the first round of the women’s indoor basketball competition nearing completion. Checkers and Rex share the lead. Both teams showed solid combination and accurate shooting to record big wins in games played at Cowles Stadium on Monday evening. In the other senior fixtures University accounted for Rebels and Rangiora scored Its first win of the season with a victory over Teachers' College. Results: Checkers 36, Brighten 14.
