(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 14. The question of policewomen carrying batons was being reconsidered, the Minister in Charge of Police (Mr Allen) said in Parliament today. Mr N. V. Douglas (Opp.. Auckland Central) had asked why policewomen had been permitted to carry batons.
