RETURN TO PRISON
(N.Z. Press Association) HAMILTON, June 12. Hautu prison farm officials received a shock early on Friday, when James O’Brien, who escaped from the institution on May 20 walked in at 5.45 a.m. and gave himself up. He was bearded, but in good health and had obviously been well cared for, officials said. When O’Brien escaped, he had only another three weeks of his sentence to sene.
