TOP SOUTH ISLAND LAMBS.—When the leading lambs from export lamb competitions from all over the South Island were sent to London this season this pen from Mr D. M. Smith, of Eiffelton, was selected as the best for the island as well as for Mid-Canterbury. The lambs were Southdown-Romney cross. The London judges said that the winners were examples of ideal lamb Carcases for United Kingdom requirements.
