CONFERENCE IN LONDON

Exporting Of Fruit (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 6. The deputy-chairman of the Apple and Pear Board, Mr H. R. Sampson, of Christchurch, is to attend the first international conference of apple and pear exporting countries, which starts in London on April 25. He will be joined by another board member, Mr W. Benzies, of Wellington, according to a statement released today by the board. The conference is being convened by the International Federation of Agricultural Producers. Before returning home they will observe the marketing of the 1965-66 New Zealand crop in Britain.
