THE ALBIZZIAS, the Cape Wattle, named after an Italian naturalist, are a group of quick-growing desiduous trees and shrubs few of which are grown to any extent. Their rapid growth and the fact that they are tolerant of severe pruning makes some of them useful as ornamental hedges, one of which Albizzia Lophantha was shown on this page last week.
