Ny’s Next Opponent
The South Australian ban-tam-weight boxer, Tony Caminiti, who is to fight the New Zealand title-hol ’er, Laurie Ny, at Canterbury Court next Thursday, will arrive in Christchurch on Monday. Caminiti will fight Ny over 10 rounds. The 24-year-old Australian is reported to have won 24 of his 32 bouts, all his losses being on points decisions.
Ny has won five of his sixbouts. His victories were all by the short route and his loss, to Lionel Rose (Melbourne), was on points after 10 rounds.
