MANNERS

The Aranui High School, which has published a number of guides to pupils adapted by other schools, has now produced a pamphlet on etiquette and manners. The essence, it says, is consideration for others. Courtesies to staff, in the classroom, between men and women and boys and girls, at places of entertainment, dances, and formal occasions are suggested. There are also notes on telephone courtesy and personal appearance.
