Bones 5000 Years Old (N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) NAIROBI, ApnJ 3. An American archaeologist has found many bones and implements dating back nearly 5000 years in a remote part of north-west Kenya, says a Nairobi newspaper The archaeologist, Mr Larry Robbins, is reported as saying this was the first time, bones and implements had been found together in such large quantities in Kenya. Mr Robbins, who is doing research for a thesis at the University of California, made the finds near Lake Rudolf, which lies near Kenya’s borders with the Sudan and Ethiopia. The discoveries included implements probably used by early villagers to catch fish.
