KAPUNI GAS
No Decision Yet On Use (N Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. April 4. The Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) said tonight that intensive discussions were continuing on Kapuni natural gas, but not enough progress had yet been made for a Cabinet decision. Mr Holyoake said gas prices had been a focal point in discussions. Last month he announced that the Government Caucus reached a decision on development of the gas fields, but would not say whether that was using the gas for power generation or for domestic purposes.
