Driving At Yonkers

The Tinwald trainerdriver, D. J. Townley, has accepted an invitation to drive in the international pacing series to be held at Yonkers Raceway, New York, next month. All going well Townley expects to drive the former New Zealand pacer, Gay Robin, in the series. Townley will leave New Zealand about April 1 and expects to be away for several weeks. Townley is at present preparing Jacobite for the Royal Easter Cup, the first heats for which will be run on April 2. He will engage an outside driver to handle the Young Charles gelding throughthe series.
