Lightning Damage
Trolley-bus lines carrying 600 volts were cut by lightning on Dominion road, Auckland, shortly before 11 o’clock yesterday morning in an electrical storm. Three transformers feeding 300 homes and factories in the area were also damaged. One car passed over the sparking lines without damage.—(P.A.)
