(N.Z. Press Association) TAURANGA, Feb. 27. Thieves broke into all three Tauranga branches of Thriftways Supermarkets on Saturday night and got away with about £7OO in cash.

They were unable to break open the safe at the Otumoetai branch, but got about £lOO from the Greerton branch and £6OO from the premises at Cameron road.
