Overseas Stocks Again Weak On Easier Market
Overseas stocks were again weak with eight falls and only three rises in easier trading on New Zealand stock exchanges yesterday. New Zealand leaders showed little change on the day before, but second-rank stocks declined. Ballins Industries rose 5d to 12s 9d on higher profit news and New Zealand Breweries moved up Id to 13s 2d. Canterbury Frozen Meat fell Is to 355, Neill Cropper Is to 25s 3d, Early Brothers lid to 12s and Pye Electronics 6d to 13s 9d.
Australian kev stocks suffered a setback with declines recorded by Bank of N.S.W., A.C.I, C.S.R.. Email, G J. Coles, H. C. Sleigh, Waltons and Woolworths rights. Gains were made by Kauri, B.H.P. lights, and Mount Lyell.
