Two Ships Aground

(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) THE HAGUE, November 25. Dutch rescue teams battled fierce gales and mountainous seas to save the crews of two freighters off the coast of Holland yesterday.

A lifeboat rescued 48 men and a woman from the 9284ton Ping An, Hong Kongowned but Liberian-regis-tered, which was hurled on to the wave-lashed beach off the Hook of Holland. Near Ymuiden, 40 miles away, a Dutch naval helicopter picked up 10 of the crew of 17 from the 2802-ton Santa Kyriaki, Liberian-reg-istered, which was also thrown high up the shore.
