Badly Hurt By Boiling Tar
(IV.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 23. Two men were badly burned by boiling tar when a retort blew back early this morning at the Wellington Gas Company’s Miramar works. Mr R. Hurrell and Mr L. Alexander both received extensive burns on the face, head, back and front of body, and arms. Mr Alexander also burned around the ■ eyes. ■ They were admitted to WelHospital. Their conlast night was fair.
