Sisters To Tour (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. Two of the world’s greatest women athletes, Irina and Tamara Press, have been included in a Soviet team to visit New Zealand in January. The team of seven includes the 1956 Melbourne Olympic double gold medallist, Vladimir Kuts, as manager. It is: I. Press (sprints), T. Press (decathlon), L. Ivonov (5000 and 10,000 metres), V. Rayko (800, 1500 and 3000 metres), A. Kudinsky (steeplechase, 1500 to 5000 metres) and M. Storozhenko (decathlon). The Soviet athletes will arrive on December 29 and will compete in their first meeting, at Waikato on January 5. During their month-long visit they will run at nine provincial meetings and will conclude their tour at Auckland on January 31.
