Waggon Version
’THIS is the station waggon x version of the successful Triumph 2000. It combines the performance and comfort of the saloon with a load space more than five feet long. The vehicle has a maximum speed of 92 m.p.h. (using the same six-cylinder engine as the saloon), and has synchromesh on all four forward gears, disc front brakes and indiependent suspension all round. In New Zealand the standard version is expected
to retail for about £l9OO, with overdrive and automatic models also available. Fifty cubic feet of load space are provided with the rear seat folded, or 25 cubic feet with four to five passengers. Loading is simple through a 3ft 6in door aperture with a large single tailgate, which is counter-balanced to lift easily and stay securely above head height. The deep rear window, gives excellent rear vision and plenty of natural light.
