DIED AT CROSSING

Mother And Daughters (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Nov. 4. A mother and her two young children died after the car in which they were travelling and a locomotive collided on a Paeroa level crossing soon after noon today. They were: Mrs Elaine Ruby Anderson, aged 27, married, of Netherton. Denise, aged 11 months, Karen, aged 2j. Mrs Anderson and Karen were first admitted to Thames Hospital, but died later. The car was almost cut in two by the impact. It was carried 180 yards along the track before the locomotive was stopped.
