Training On Sunday

Many of the horses engaged on the first day of the New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club’s cup meeting on Tuesday will work at Addington Raceway on Sunday between 9 and 11 a.m. The club has received advice from trainers from all parts of Canterbury that they intend working their horses on Sunday morning. Drivers will in most cases wear their racing colours. The club’s commentator (Mr D. B. Clarkson) will be in attendance.
