Radar Delay At Mangere

(N.Z. Press Assn.— Copyright) AUCKLAND, November 3. The main surveillance radar system for the Auckland international airport at Mangere will not be ready until mid-December. Services begin on November 24. However, it is not expected that the gap until the £150.000 system is working will have any effect on airport operation. A Civil Aviation Department officer said today: “It will just mean we will have one less aid in the testing period.”
