Resolution On Aden
(N.Z P A -Reuter—Copyright) NEW YORK, November 3. A group of 38 nonaligned nations yesterday tabled a draft resolution in the United Nations declaring that “British military action” against the Protectorates and the people of Aden had created a dangerous situation deserving the attention of the Security Council.
The draft, tabled for the General Assembly’s trusteeship committee, also deplored what it called British attempts to “set up an unrepresentative regime in the territory.” Britain has declared its intention to grant independence to Aden by 1968 at the latest in a plan for an independent South Arabian Federation.
