After-hours Banking

Sir,—Your report in today’s issue of convenient facilities for a “quick-deposit” slot in one city bank for passing motorists and others is most interesting. I like to do my shopping early in the morning when there is still a parking place, and have often been driven to slip cheques under my bank door or to deposit in the savings bank. Unless all banks adopt a similar service there will be some shifting of accounts, mine, for example.—Yours, etc., 1965. November 3, 1965.
