POLICY ON VIETNAM

Protest March Proposed (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 2A national protest of New Zealand's Vietnam policy followed by a march to Parliament, will be held on November 27. The event was announced by the Wellington Committee on Vietnam. The aim was to “express the horror felt by many decent New Zealanders that our soldiers are participating in a war killing thousands of innocent civilians in the devastation of their villages, their crops and land,” the committee said today. The meeting will coincide with similar protests in Washington. London and other capitals.
