PYJAMAS

Ski patterns and ski pyjama styles are a feature of a novelty range of pyjamas being made by one New Zealand manufacturer for next winter.

Ski print designs feature bold snow flake patterns, winter sports scenes, and a neat ski “medallion” print with a smart diagonal check background.

The new ski styles use both black and coloured rib interlock for collars, cuffs and ankles, and there is a choice between a pullover ski style and a buttonthrough model.

Plain colours also get the ski treatment. One pullover style in pastel shades has dark-toned interlock trim and a coat-of-arms motif bn the pocket. Another shawlcollared style, with dark printed coat and light contrast tousers and collar trim, shows a large ski badge on the pocket.

Most striking of all, perhaps, is a pullover style with back V-shaped interlock set into the front and carried up to form a turtle neck. The black contrasts against a coat of bright red or bright blue and a handsome black-and-gold heral die motif decorates the pocket.
