Long-Service Reward

"The Press” Special Service

AUCKLAND, Oct. 25.

Free overseas travel is the reward for long service with the New Zealand Towel Supply and Laundry, Ltd.

The company has established a special travel fund for long-term employees to take their wives overseas on full

pay, and on Friday evening the first three to qualify were honoured. Each received a cheque for £5OO. Mr C. W. Coulstock, Mr H. V. Browne and Mr A. E. Elder were each presented with travel bags packed with overseas brochures. They have all served 40 years with the company. They were also granted special superannuation privileges.

The presentations were made by the managing director, Mr J. H. Plowman. Mr Coulstock was one of the first drivers of a Ford Model T van. He was for about 30 years sales service manager for the company and is now public relations officer.

Mr Browne has been washroom supervisor for 35 years and Mr Elder maintenance I engineer.
