The main steel framing will consist of 120 ft span portal frames with an additional 25ft verandah. The purlins are to be of latticed tubular construction while side framing, etc., is to be made from rolled sections. All steelwork is to be dry sandblasted before painting. The drawings and specifications may be viewed at the Board’s Offices, 297 Madras street, Christchurch, and copies may be obtained on receipt of a deposit of £lO (refundable) on receipt of a bona fide tender).
