Held Careers Evening
The pioneer committee of the Christchurch Division of the Giris’ Brigade entertained members of the pioneer groups from all companies at a careers evening recently. Mrs B. P. Barns, from the Vocational Guidance Centre, explained to the girls the valuable assistance available to them from primary school —advice in the choice of subjects for secondary school and university —to suggestions for employment. Pioneer S. Jones, from Ist Lyttelton company, was in the chair.
