POST OFFICE PERSONNEL
Appointments Announced (N.Z. Press Association ’ WELLINGTON, Sept. 15. Several senior Post Office personnel will be appointed to new executive positions on October 1. Mr M. E. Wilson, deputyChief Postmaster, Christchurch, has been appointed Chief Postmaster, Whangarei. Two new deputy-Chief Postmasters have been appointed to Auckland. They are Mr C. T. Deverall, at present deputy-Chief Postmaster. Dunedin, and Mr G. Parkhouse, Chief Postmaster, Greymouth. Both were formerly senior supervisors at the Auckland Chief Post Office.
Mr J. A. R. Kirkwood, postmaster. Tauranga. has been appointed Chief Postmaster, Rotorua. The Chief Postmaster. Masterton. Mr W. Mcßobie, has been made Chief Postmaster, Gisborne.
At present a senior supervisor at the Wellington regional engineer’s office, Mr R. Wheeler, has been appointed Pastmaster. Lower Hutt Mr W. L. McKinnon, Pastmaster, Papatoetoe. has been appointed deputy-Chief Postmaster, Invercargill.
