Sydney Wool Prices Firm

(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY, Sept. 14.

Sydney wool auctions were continued today under strong comp- tition dominated by Japan, with good support from the Continent, United Kingdom and Australian mills.

When compared with the improved levels of the previous day, values for Merino fleece when free or carrying only light burr, remained fully firm. Burry Merino fleece wools and all skirtings ruled firm.

Once again comebacks, crossbreds and carding types were keenly sought and yesterday’s levels for these types were maintained.
