The Lyttelton Harbour Board Loan and Empowering Bill was one of five reported as signed by the Administrator when Parliament resumed yesterday afternoon. The Nelson Harbour Board Empowering Bill and the Otago Harbour Board Empowering Bill were reported back by the Local Bills Committee as ready to proceed. The statutes revision committee returned the Administration Amendment Bill to the House without amendment. The following measures were given second readings: the War Pensions Amendment Bill, the Estate and Gift Duties Amendment Bill, the Shipping and Seamen Amendment Bill, the Medcal Research Council Amendment Bill.
