Safe Found; Owner Next

(N.Z. Press Association)

AUCKLAND, July 13. Police are searching for the owner of an office safe found near a bush-track off the Piha road on Sunday. The back had been cut open and inside the safe were two rolls of admission tickets marked with the prices Is 3d and Is 6d. The police have no report of a missing safe from any recent burglary and say the owner may not have realised yet that the safe has been stolen.
