June I 3134 WARNING THE PLAINS RABBIT BOARD In accordance with the provisions of the Rabbit Act, 1955 and Rabbit Destruction Regulations 1962 and Amendments, hereby prohibits the shooting, trapping and hunting of rabbits and hares, within the districts specified below. This prohibition shall commence on June 7. 1965 and will continue until September 7, 1965. It is the board's intention to prosecute any offenders. The areas specified are: (1) All of that Catchment Board Land contained in the Watmakariri Riverbed and all .of that land adjoining the South Riverbank for a distance of one mile. (2) The North side of the Solwyn Riverbed and adjoining land from Coalgate bridge downstream to the Christchurch-Leeston bridge. May 26, 1965. 9188 AIR SERVICES LICENSING ACT, 1951 1 Notice Is hereby given that on or after Monday, June 7, 1965, the Licensing Authrolty will pursuant to section 26 of the Air Services Licensing Act, 1951, consider an application from AIRLAND (N.Z.). LTD., Box 369, PALMERSTON NORTH, to extend the Company's Air Service Licence No. 382 to enable the operation of one heavy aircraft throughout the South Island, such aircraft being either one Dakota or one Lodestar as circumstances require. 2 Air Service Licence No. 382 authorises the licence holder to carry out aerial topdressing in the South Isiland subject to: (a) The operation of one heavy aircraft only from Woodbourne and/or Paraparaumu aerodromes in the Sounds area which area is defined as all the land lying to the north-east of a line drawn from Cro4seiles Harbour through Plcton to Robin Hood Bay. (b) Charter only to any other operator licensed in that area being a 46-mlile radius of Woodbourne aerodrome on terms to be mutually agreed upon as to commission and price. (c) That where local operators secure work to be done by heavy aircraft in the aforesaid Sounds area, the same will be performed by the licenceholder on charter at at rate and price to be mutually agreed upon. - 3 Any objectors to this application are requested to advise the Licensing Authority in writing and set out the grounds of objection. 4 The Authority may or may not decide to determine the application without the hearing of evidence, or by reason of the matters involved in the application of or objections thereto, may decide to adjourn the application for public hearing, in which event further notice will be given.
