Obituary

Capt. C. W. Sendall (N.Z. Press Association) OAMARU, May 28. The Oamaru harbourmaster, Captain C. W. Sendall, has died, aged 59. Captain Sendall was master of the Shaw Savill vessel Runic when she was wrecked on Middleto nreef four years ago on a voyage from Brisbane to Auckland. Born in England, he joined Shaw Savill as a junior officer in 1931. He leaves a wife and daughter.
